Recently, there are many customers who consult with the mask ready to use air compressor, but they don‘t know how to choose the appropriate mask machine air compressor. Today, skoro takes you to know how to choose the air compressor for mask machine.
The air consumption of the air cylinder matched with the mask machine equipment can be divided into maximum air consumption and average air consumption.
1. The maximum air consumption is the air consumption required when the cylinder moves at the maximum speed, which can be expressed as:
qr=0.0462D^2*um(P+0.102)
For example, if the cylinder diameter D is 10cm, the maximum speed is 300mm / s, and the service pressure is 0.6MPa, the maximum air consumption of the cylinder QR = 0.046 * 10 ^ 2 * 300 * (0.6 + 0.102) = 968.76 (L / min). Therefore, the solenoid valve with CV value of 1.0 or effective cross-sectional area of about 18mm can meet the flow requirements. If the service pressure of the cylinder is 0.5MPa and the maximum speed is 200mm / s, the maximum air consumption of the cylinder is QR = 553.84.
If the cylinder diameter D is 50cm, the maximum speed is 300mm / s.
When the service pressure is 0.6MPa, the maximum air consumption of the cylinder is QR = 242.19, so the CV value of about 0.3 can be selected.
PS: unofficial empirical formula: maximum gas consumption = square of cylinder diameter (in cm) multiplied by factor 10 (at this time, the working pressure is 0.6MPa and the maximum speed is 300mm / s)
2. The average air consumption is the air flow consumed by the cylinder in a working cycle of the pneumatic system. It can be expressed as:
qca=0.0157(D^2*L+d^2*ld)N(p+0.102)
In the above formula,
QCA: average air consumption of cylinder, L / min (ANR);
N: The working frequency of the cylinder, i.e. the number of reciprocating cycles of the cylinder in each minute. One reciprocating cycle is one cycle, cycle / min;
50: Stroke of cylinder, cm;
d: The inner diameter of the piping between the directional valve and the cylinder; cm
LD: length of piping, cm.
For example, for a cylinder with a cylinder diameter D of 100mm (10cm) and a stroke l of 100mm (10cm), the action frequency n is 60 cycles / min, d = 10mm (1cm), LD = 60mm (6cm),
qca=0.0157(D^2*L+d^2*ld)N(p+0.102)=0.0157*(10^2*10+1^2*6))*60*(0.6+0.102)=666.5251704L/min(ANR).
The average air consumption is used to select the air compressor and calculate the operation cost.
The maximum air consumption is used to select the size of air handling components, control valves and piping.
The difference between the maximum gas consumption and the average gas consumption is used to select the volume of the gas tank.
